Cran-Apple Oats


Pumpkin Almond Oats

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup milk of your choice

1/3 cup oats

1/4 cup applesauce

1/2 apple, chopped

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp ground flax

1 tbsp dried cranberries

1 tbsp sliced almonds

In a small saucepan, bring milk and water to a boil. Add the oats and turn the heat down to a simmer. Stir in the applesauce. When most of the liquid has been absorbed into the oatmeal, stir in the apple, spices and flax seeds. When the oatmeal is fully cooked, sprinkle with cranberries and almonds.
