Gingersnap Oatmeal
Gingersnap Oatmeal
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk of your choice
1/3 cup oats
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp agave
thumb sized piece of fresh ginger, finely minced or grated
dash cloves
dash cinnamon
1 tbsp ground flax seed
In a small saucepan, bring milk and water to a boil. Add the oats and turn the heat down to a simmer. Stir in the vanilla, agave and ginger. When most of the liquid has been absorbed into the oatmeal, stir in the spices and flax seed.
